Like most mezcal made from the Tobala varietal, this is a pleasure to drink. This mezcal is made from agaves grown at an average elevation of 6000 ft. Made by Mezcaleros Aquilino Garcia Lopez and Emigdio Jarquin Ramierez who cook the agves in eathen ovens, ferment in pine-wood vats, and distilled in a 200 L copper still. The liquid is rested in steel tanks for 3 months before being bottled by hand. So delicious!
