• An innovative approach to twice-barreled bourbon creates the rich and colorful flavor of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. Uniquely matured in separate, charred oak barrels the second barrel is deeply toasted before a light charring this extracts additional amounts of soft, sweet oak character. Aromas of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate and marzipan on the nose. On the palate, this is a full-bodied whiskey with notes of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, orchard fruit and spices. The finish is long and creamy with lingering hints of honeyed apple.
