Description
Produced at Tepozán in San Julian, Jalisco, by Maestro Tequilero, Carlos Padilla. 100% Blue Weber (A. tequilana) Cooked 2 days in a traditional stone & brick oven; milled using mechanical roller mill. Fermented in stainless steel. Distilled twice using stainless steel pot stills. Aged 4 months in ex-bourbon barrels. Honeyed in both appearance and aroma, this gently rested Reposado layers oaky notes of vanilla and burnt caramel amongst the Blanco’s deep, warm cinnamon and peppercorn. The palate, however, retains a racy vigor reminiscent of roasted meyer lemons and charred pineapples. As comforting and contemplative as it is refreshing and sprightly, this repo is beautifully balanced. 40% ABV
