On the nose look for smoked caramel, honeysuckle, driftwood, oak cabinet (who doesn’t like “oak cabinet” in their scotch?), dried cereal grains, burnt matches, fire logs and dry grass. The palate has smoked meat notes, oak, spice, sea salt, fruit snacks, raisins, mousse cake with some medicinal characteristics. The finish is dry with some mineral seashell notes. When you add a drop or two of water it is surprisingly easy to take down.
