Siete Leguas are OG tequila producers, having been the birthplace of the well known brand Patron before the rights were sold and production outgrew the space.
One of the oldest distilleries in Mexico, Casa Siete Leguas has more than sixty years of experience in the making of tequila by means of a traditional process, delivering full-bodied, high-quality spirits of refined flavor.
The agave is still crushed by tahona (a very large stone wheel), which is very rare in tequila these days and helps to retain and extract more flavor by preserving the agave fibers. It’s then distilled in copper stills.
