• The Barrlito company was started in Cuba and moved to Puerto Rico in 1936 where it has stayed since. It is a lighter style of rum with lighter ester quality then a Jamaican or Martinique r(h)um but shows itself subtly. Light caramel, warm baking spices, subtle smoke, and dry oak combine to make a fantastic spirit that holds up amazingly in cocktails. Try in a traditional daiquiri!
