• Montalcino is an amazing Medieval village that is well knows for its big and age worthy reds made of Sangiovese. This family has deep roots in the area and hasn’t changed much! They are within the old town center and are credited with building the wall around the town in the 1500’s! Their vines are much higher elevation than a lot of the new plantings that have made this area famous. Smells of nice leather, cherry, and cedar, the finish is long and structured. Drink now or cellar for 20+ years. Pair with veal Saltimbocca.
