The crafting of pechuga-style mezcal is a relatively new phenomenon in Logoche, but the distillation of agave with fruit is a long standing tradition in the village and surrounding mezcalero communities of Mihuatlán, Oaxaca. These batches are generally made for special occasions and in very small quantities.
Made with capón espadin, this special batch was selected as a Chambers & Chambers exclusive. Bottled for our friends in California, this tiny production was twice distilled with a medley of Simitrio's favorite fruits, including apples, guavas, grapes, mangos, pineapple, and nance. 54 bottles produced. 48.6% ABV.
