Nantou Distillery is located in the mountains of central Taiwan. Their copper pot stills were made by the famous manufacturer Forsyths in Scotland. They get thier grains from Scotland as well. Barrel aged 4-5 years in a sub-tropical, the angel's share is quite high. Due to climate, aging is acelerated 3X your typical Scottish distillery, such that Omar Single Malts drink similarly to a 12-15 year old Scotch. This version of Omar spends time in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
