Description

• The Mannochmore Distillery is located in Elgin, within the Speyside region. It was established in 1971. It was originally built to provide juice to Haig blends with its sister distillery Glenlossie. Official distillery releases of Mannochmore will be few and far between. This is why the distillery has remained under the radar for so long. Glenlossie being Mannochmore’s sister distillery, the two now share the same distillery and workforce, alternating years when they produce which whisky! Our 11 year old Mannochmore was distilled in the Spring of 2007 and bottled in May 2019. Only 285 bottles at 56.4% abv came from this Bourbon Hogshead barrel. 
   
  It has a strong citrus right on the nose with fresh melon, soft peach dried orange peel, fruit flowers and honey. On the palate, more orange peel, rhubarb and a mild ginger spice. It finishes with baked pears, shortbread and a subtle mintiness.
