A Cask Exclusive barrel of rye, number 752, was bottled at a cask strength of 61.0% and is four years old. It is 100% San Luis Valley with a 50/50 blend of raw and malted rye. On the nose you find hints of banana bread, cinnamon, peanut brittle, oak, black pepper, fresh dill, and fennel . On the palate you get ripe dark cherry, navel orange, burnt brown sugar, spicy rye, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, fennel, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. It has a medium dry finish with a hint of brown sugar.
