While we can’t get the “official” Amer Picon in the US, a little Colorado distillery called Golden Moon is helping us get our fix. Amer dit Picon is produced using high quality, hand-selected herbs, spices and botanicals. Golden Moon sought to recreate the original processes (and acquired the original ingredients) used by legendary distiller Gaetan Picon to create his bitters in the 1830’s. Bottled at 78 proof, this is the missing link for your classic Picon Punch, although it can be enjoyed by itself as well.
