• Glenfarclas is one of Speyside’s only family owned distilleries, founded in 1805, they are renowned for their heavily sherried Single Malts. For those who love a big, bold, cask strength Speyside sherry bomb - this one is for you.  With a color of deep peaty, molten gold the nose is complex and oaky with apples, pears and a tempting dark toffee sweetness.  The palate is pleasantly dry, but assertive, developing quickly into a rich spiciness combined with hints of oak and sherries fruit.  The finish is amazingly smooth for the strength and wonderfully warming with a lingering smokiness, yet very rounded.
