Description
A 12 year Aged Single Blended Rum, consisting of both Artisanal Pot and Traditional Twin Column Coffey distilled molasses rums. Aged for 12 years entirely in Ex-Bourbon Barrels. All aging, blending and bottling occurring entirely on-site, at Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados. Bottled at 60% ABV - 120 Proof.
Rich, bracing and complex with unique dried tropical fruit and spice. Aroma: Caramelized Grapefruit, Dark Cocoa, Butterscotch, Clove and Jamaican Allspice evolve into Sandlewood, Brine, Overripe Pineapple and Candied Banana. Deep molasses characteristic with apricot and plums in the background. Palate: Big, expressive and unctuous - with subtle drying characteristics - black tea, and citrus peel notes lingering. Rich molasses and baking spice round back out to tropical fruits and dried berry notes, finishing dry and lengthy with subtle tannins.
