Distillerie Du Peyrat is located in a small village 10km East of Cognac on the banks of a river. The produce, distill and age their eaux de vie with the respect of the environment and the intense expression of the terroir.
Tropical on the nose, floral and vibrant stone fruit on the palate. Balanced all the way through. Delightful.
Family owned grower producer distillery. They sell some distillate to Remy to pay the bills; the rest is for their own label. They are organic and sustainable in their farming practices, and 85% of all organic cognac comes from this distillery. The average age of the juice in this bottle is 3.5 - 5 years. Basically a VS, good for mixing, but just fine to sip on too.
