• Bruichladdich distillery was built in 1881 by the Harvey brothers. This single malt scotch whisky was originally crafted by distilling legend Jim McEwan to showcase Bruichladdich’s floral and elegant house style. Unpeated, it has become the signature bottling of Bruichladdich. The bouquet opens with barley sugar and a hint of mint before leading into the most wonderful notes of freshly cut wild flowers; buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose and cherry blossom.  The palate is refined and refreshing with sweet oak and barely arriving hand in hand.  Notes of fresh fruit and an Atlantic breeze with a pop on the tongue like champagne bubbles, ripe green fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt bring closure.  The finish is unforgettable, bringing warmth to the heart and soul.
