• This traditional aquavit from Iceland is made from a neutral grain spirit and contains only one botanical, caraway. However, you’ll find that you pick up a lot of interesting notes that would lead you to believe otherwise, probably because of the high mineral content in the volcanic water they use. Fun fact: the name Brennevin means “burned wine” in Icelandic.
