Bardstown Bourbon Company is one of newer brick and mortar distilleries to pop up on Kentucky Bourbon Trail. While they are making a portion of their own whiskey featured in these new releases, their blending skills are what really make this distillery unique. They currently produce around 40 unique mash bills for some of the brands we all know and love, including Jefferson’s, High West, and James E. Pepper.
Their Fusion Series #1 is a blend of 60% of Bardstown Bourbon Company’s two-year-old wheated and high-rye Kentucky bourbons along with 40% of 11 year 7 month bourbon also from Kentucky. Full transparency and excellence achieved through collaboration are two of the distillery’s top priorities. You can find the three mash bills listed on the side of the label, but the proof is in the bottle.
