Bardstown Bourbon Company is one of newer brick and mortar distilleries to pop up on Kentucky Bourbon Trail. While they are making a portion of their own whiskey featured in these new releases, their blending skills are what really make this distillery unique. They currently produce around 40 unique mash bills for some of the brands we all know and love, including Jefferson’s, High West, and James E. Pepper.
Their Discovery series #1 is 75% 11 year old bourbon sourced from Kentucky, but includes whiskey as old as 13 years and as young as 5 years. Decadent and sophisticated, would pair well with a cigar.
