Description

• Barbancourt rhum is distilled and produced in Port Au Prince on the Isle of Haiti. The traditions of making rhum in the French West Indies differs from the tradition of rum production in the rest of the Caribbean in that the spirit is distilled from fermented sugarcane juice rather than fermented molasses. This gives the nose a perfumed complexity with roasted, tannic aromatics and a palate with powerful and rich flavors of cooked pear, citrus fruits, cinnamon and pepper.
