Founded in 1826 the distillery burned down twice in 1879 & 1898 and has sat in its current location since. Surround by the dramatic Highland scenery of Ben Rinnes, the village of Aberlour sits in the heart of Speyside, where the Lour burn joins the River Spey and this fantastic whiskey is created.
This 18 year spends time in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Oloroso sherry barrels. It's bottled at 86 proof. Fruit, raisin,spice, and cocoa on the palate.
